This year for new years eve I decided to go to the Quad cities to spend it with the Lehmans. They had already planned an evening with the Picks, Brian Stein, and another couple, so I gladly joined them. We went to a local restaurant for a night of fun (dinner, live music, and free drinks all night!). Thankfully Gina and Bridgit had no fear and got the dancing started off for the night. All the older couples at the restaurant loved us!

The rest of the weekend was a nice change of pace. Gina and I did a little shopping on New Years day and then we cooked a bunch of appetizers for the football game Friday night. (I can't for the life of me remember what game it was; must have been a good one! ha!) I made it back to Ames on saturday in time to make homemade manicotti for dinner with Pat, Sarah, and Dori. Fun times had by all!

Hopefully everyone else had a great New Years weekend as well. Now if only this nasty cold weather would go away... I'm ready for a vacation far, far away!

P.S.... Since Andrew and Gina have both laughed at my attempt at blogging; I thought it'd be appropriate to feature them. hopefully they'll still love me :)
