JOHN MAYER concert!!
As of late, I've become a BIG fan of John Mayer's music. I can hear (you) already; "John Mayer's a terrible person.. blah, blah, blah". Well yes, I agree that I do not agree with his lifestyle, but his music is just purely amazing. He is currently on tour and thankfully was coming close enough for me to make it to a show. My roommate Pat, his girlfriend Sarah, our friend Dori, and I decided to make the short treck to Kansas City. This was my first trip to down town Kansas City and I was very impressed with the Power and Light District. If you haven't been there, you must visit soon! The P&L is an outdoor pavillion area with lots of bars/restaurants surrounding a covered central courtyard. We decided on an Irish Pub for food and drinks of course. The P&L happens to be right across from the Sprint Center; which is where the concert was held.
John Mayer was phenomenal. Our seats weren't bad; but not great. We were directly to his right side which made us close, but pictures were awkward from the side. I only wish he would have sang "Edge of Desire" off of his new album. It's currently one of my favorites :)
John Mayer has a concert in Chicago next Saturday April 10th. Maybe I'll get a wild hair and decide to go :)
